Kazimir cupboards created by Gordon Guillaumier, where the essentiality and rigor of the wooden structure takes shape and is charged with materiality through the use of marble and metal resins, which evoke architectural volumes.A line of cupboards, a tribute to the artist Kazimir Maleviĉ, characterized by the simplicity of the constructive principles that define the wooden structure. The panels of the doors are covered with pasty and marble resins.The series is designed with compositions for the living room and dining room, to be coordinated with the Desalto collection tables, where the common denominator is matter.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Gordon Guillaumier was born and
educated in Malta, Switzerland, England and Italy.
He graduated in industrial
design at the IED, Milan (1988-91) and later a masters in industrial
design at the Domus Academy , Milan (1992).
In 1993 he took a brief
