To many the name Borek Sípek is synonymous with glass. “Scaralux” is the name of this exclusive lighting collection. These handmade pieces are all produced at Sípeks Ajeto glassworks in Northern Bohemia and made available world-wide by Espaces & Lignes. The combination of Bohemian crystal, Sípek design and the unsurpassed craftsmanship at Ajeto has resulted in this unique and glittering collection which covers a wide range of lighting possibilities from small wall lamps, table and standing lamps to majestic chandeliers as this catalogue shows.

Scaralux lighting enhances the Scarabas furniture collection. The name is an anagram of Sípek and Cabas, master carpenter and director of the Cumin Luigia factory where the first pieces were produced. The initially small selection which originated during some playful improvisation in the workshop was taken up and coveted by Espaces & Lignes.
